We already have a rough draft of the design and measurements, but County Law needs a blue print in order for us to start building. We don't even know where to begin to look for someone to do our Blue Prints. Thanks For Any Help|||Snoop around at ACTUAL home-centers, NOT Home Depot. Ask around for a Architect someone could recommend, or at very least the Yellow Pages. Contacting a qualified Architect will be rewarded with potential alterations/corrections that only someone who deals with building plans on an everyday basis will even notice. Just be sure all the "i"s are dotted and all "t"s are crossed before commencing on construction, local officials can make or break a project.
Best Wishes on doing the work yourself, while you will result in many headaches, you will surely be rewarded! --IC|||any drafting office can draw you plans and convert them to prints,and its not cheap,so be prepapred.And if youve never had plans drawn,youre in for the long haul if you are acting as your own contractor,leave it to someone who is a pro.
