My husband bought our house on a land contract. If the old man dies, is the contract void?

My husband bought our house on a land contract from an old man. If he dies, are we obligated to continue paying on the house or is the contract considered void at that time then??|||No, you can continue to pay for the house with payments to his estate. His heirs can't force you to give back the house and you owe them the contract the same as if it were the old man. Other than perhaps a new address to send the payments nothing changes.|||Actually, no, it's still legally binding.

The seller would actually become "the estate of John Doe".
